Sayed Haseeb Rafi, originally from Kabul, Afghanistan, began his career in the food and beverage industry at the age of 19, working as a banquet server at a hotel in California. Throughout his career in hotels, he gained experience in various roles such as restaurant server/supervisor, bartender/bar manager, front desk agent, houseman, and culinary. He also worked as a sales agent for home healthcare companies in Las Vegas for a couple of years. However, after many years, he discovered that his true passion lies in banquets and events.

I was a little nervous about transitioning from a job in a hotel to outside catering. Sean, Pam, Patty, and the rest of the staff were very helpful during my transition to Divine Events. I enjoy going to fun places and meeting new people as part of my job!

Fun fact: A Shrimp's heart is in its head

‍Favorite food: Not sure, definitely not pork

‍Favorite drink: Mango anything

‍Favorite dessert: fruit flavored puddings

‍Favorite things outside of work: I like spending time with my kids, working out, riding a bicycle, hiking, and I played cricket all my teenage years. I compete in online cricket tournaments.
