Join Chef Steve Piamchuntar in an evening of exploring a tradition that dates back thousands of years, most likely to Mongolia. In our quest to learn and celebrate the community of food, we at Divine want to share this experience with you.
Hot Pot is known under many names in many regions: firepot, steamboat, jim jum (Thailand), shabu-shabu (Japan), lau (Vietnam) and is a style of entertaining that brings loved ones and friends together for a fabulous evening of celebration.
The broth is main stage in Hot Pot and can be anything from simple Chicken stock to spicy Thai-style coconut-rich tom ka broth.
Beautiful platters of food are prepared to be the ingredients to be cooked in the Hot Pot
We will prepare 4 types of broth, experiment with
Proteins – Beef, Pork, Chicken, Seafood, Tofu
Leafy Vegetables, sturdy vegetables, mushrooms
Noodles, wontons, dumplings
We will pair beverages to enhance the experience such as warm oolong tea, light lager beers and crisp white and rose wines
